K2 Is Awarded SAFETY Act Designation Renewal for Single-Purpose Canine Handler Teams
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has renewed K2’s SAFETY Act Designation for Single-Purpose Explosive Detection Canine Handler Teams, originally awarded in 2017.
K2 Solutions, Inc. provides Single-Purpose Explosive Detection Canine Teams. The Technology is the use of proprietary explosive detection canine teams to locate explosive material or devices in stationary positions, such as unattended bags, trashcans, planters, cargo, vehicles, etc. Teams are deployed to Government and commercial facilities, including arenas, stadiums, amphitheaters, theme parks, airports and high-profile events. The Technology also includes hiring and vetting of personnel, and policies and procedures used for its deployment.
