K2 Awarded a Position on MDA SHIELD IDIQ Contract

K2 Solutions, Inc. is pleased to announce it was awarded a contract in December for the Missile Defense Agency Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling of $151B.

This contract encompasses a broad range of work areas that allows for the rapid delivery of innovative capabilities to the warfighter with increased speed and agility, leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning enabled applications where pertinent, and maximizing use of digital engineering, open systems architectures, model-based systems engineering, and agile processes in the acquisition, development, and sustainment of these capabilities.

Scope areas include: science and technology, research and development, prototyping, experimentation, modeling and simulation, systems engineering, weapon design and development, integration, production, test and evaluation, operations and sustainment, cybersecurity, data analysis, facilities engineering, and modernization.
