Jim Lynch, President

Since joining K2 in 2007, Jim has held the roles of Assistant Operations Officer, Program Manager, Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Operations. He also provides insight to the Government contracting process in the form of regulatory compliance for proposal submissions and cost-effective pricing in accordance with Government requirements.

In his previous career, Jim served over 21 years in the Army Special Forces where he held numerous leadership roles in both peacetime and times of conflict. He has an extensive background in areas of Special Operations, including small unit strikes, foreign internal defense, unconventional warfare, counterterrorism operations, strategic reconnaissance, and operations and intelligence techniques. His experience involved target analysis, battlefield operations systems, and intelligence preparation for the battlefield.

Jim currently sits on the Defense Alliance of North Carolina Management Council, which was established to strengthen North Carolina’s defense sector and those who support it by creating new long term investments and job opportunities.
