Tracy Campbell, Vice President of Canine Training Academy
Tracy Campbell is responsible for the day-to-day canine operations at the Canine Training Academy, where he maintains a high standard for canine care and training as well a superb work ethic.
Tracy is a certified International Police Work Dog Association (IPWDA) Master Trainer in each of the following disciplines: narcotics, utility (patrol, tracking/trailing, controlled aggression), search and rescue and explosives. He is an IPWDA certified handler in both traditional explosive and person-borne explosive detection as well as narcotic detection.
Tracy is a retired Police Officer with the Fayetteville Police Department in Fayetteville, NC. He has over 27 years of experience as a canine handler and trainer, and is a Veteran of the US Army. Tracy has trained officers and soldiers from all over the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Iraq, and Nigeria.
Tracy is the Vice President of IPWDA, a General Instructor with the State of North Carolina and an Alcohol, Tobacco, & Firearms (ATF) Evaluator. He has served on the following boards: National Explosive Detector Canine Advisory Board (NECAB), Scientific Working Group on Dog (SWGDOG), and Orthogonal Detector Guidelines.
